Han Robot: Humanoid Robot

A humanoid robot able to recognise and interact with people has been demoed at an electronics fair in Hong Kong. The robot head, called Han, uses an array of cameras and voice recognition technology to 'see' people and have conversations with them.

MicroTugs Robot: Micro Robot

Davinci Robot: Robotic-Assisted Surgery

The da Vinci System is powered by robotic technology that allows the surgeon’s hand movements to be translated into smaller, precise movements of tiny instruments inside the patient’s body. One of the instruments is a laparoscope – a thin tube with a tiny camera and light at the end. The camera sends images to a video monitor in the operating room to guide doctors during surgery. The surgeon is 100% in control of the da Vinci System at all times.

Otto Robot: Samsung Robot

Unlike the Echo though, it also has an HD camera that can recognize faces or act as a security camera. There's also a small screen on it that displays a semblance of a face plus a variety of animations depending on the application. If the weather is "rain," it'll show animations of rain drops, for example. As you can see in the video demo here, it can also "sing" and "dance" by bobbing its head around.

Starship Robot: Delivery Food Robot

The company is manufacturing – and currently testing in local markets around the world – robots that can deliver up to three shopping bags’ worth of goods within 30 minutes to homes within a 3-mile radius. The company, according to CEO Heinla, is “reinventing” the so-called last mile of transportation, and it’s currently running tests with commercial partners such as London’s takeout food delivery service Just Eats that involves the robots ferrying meals to customers.

Windowmate Robot: Window Cleaning Robot

Kengoro Robot: The Amazing Sweating Robot

At 5½ feet tall, its face fixed between a grin and a grimace, the humanoid robot Kengoro is something of a synthetic Arnold Schwarzenegger. That is not to say the machine, created by the University of Tokyo’s JSK laboratory, is a recursive time-traveling assassin. Rather, Kengoro is a sweaty beefcake among metal bipeds.
