Hexotrac Robot is a smart rehabilitation robot that the highly under-actuated mechanism permits application of a bidirectional feedback force at the   fingertips. The hand exoskeleton fits a large range of hand sizes and requires no mechanical alignment between the linkage and the fingers, whatsoever. Feedback forces are transmitted to the distal phalanges of the operator’s fingers by providing actuation only to th1st out of the 6 revolute joints of the serial kinematic chain. One actuator per finger reduces the complexity of the system significantly in terms of hardware and control, and reduces the burden of   the associated actuation and transmission components.
