X-Hand Robot describes a general design theory of the anthropomorphic hand. The goal of the project is replicating the natural grasping functions of the human hand so it becomes feasible using the designed hand with a few actuators via biosignal based control. The designed prosthetic hand not only has the ability to implement the human grasping activities of daily living but also replicates the natural grasping behaviors of the human hand.
