0
HBS-1 Robot, HBS-1
HBS-1 Robot, The child-sized robot has anatomically-correct dimensions that closely mimic human motion with sufficient DOF. The robot has the dimensions and features of a seven-year-old child and is made entirely of 3D printed ABS parts and off the shelf components for maximum strength, simplicity and cost-effectiveness. Most parts of the robot are fabricated with acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) using rapid prototyping technology. Servomotors and shape memory alloy actuators are used as actuating mechanisms.
