Robotic News:
08:33 - 2018/08/13 Quator Robot: Smart Four-Wheeled Robot
Quator is a robot dedicated to transportation of heavy loads, technical assistance, recognition, research and programming. It can be remote-controlled or autonomous. In autonomous mode, Quator XLT makes its path in its environment by itself and manages obstacles in real time. Its high engine power allows speeds over 10 km/h. Fully IP67 waterproof, this robot is the perfect platform for your studies, research on components or programming.
08:18 - 2018/08/12 Scarab TX Robot: Smart Tracked Robot
SCARAB TX is a remote controlled robot, for intervention and technical assistance. It is often used by firemen as a fire-fighting robot. Thanks to its thermal cameras and other sensors, it can give instant eyes inside a fire to the rescue teams. Like a scout, it is able to access areas which are too dangerous for humans to approach thus improving the security and safety of missions. It can also directly attack a fire with a water cannon.
08:47 - 2018/08/11 Dilly Plate Robot: Smart Service Robot
The robot, called Dilly Plate, can serve up to 22 kilograms of food at any one time, the publication said. It is the brainchild of a local startup behind a food delivery app called Baedal Minjok. It's not the first time Pizza Hut has introduced non-humans to its wait staff. Japan's Pepper robot enjoyed a two-weekend stint at one outlet in Singapore in March, although CNET editor Aloysius Low didn't particularly enjoy his experience with it, the ordering process proving too tedious.
08:38 - 2018/08/08 KXR-L4T-R Robot: Smart Turtle Robot
KXR-L4T-R Robot is a turtle robot that you can build and program using a simple motion software. You can also replace its legs with wheels to turn it into a rover. The kit consists of KRS-3302 ICS servos, 800 mAh Ni-MH battery, an Arduino shield, sensors, and everything you need to get started.
08:49 - 2018/08/07 Mirra Robot: Smart Pool Robot
Mirra Robot uses a PVC brush to actively scrub the pool surfaces as the robot moves, allowing the robot to lift dirt, algae and bacteria off the pool floor and walls, including at the water line where oils and bacteria can build up. Just drop it in, press the CLEAN button and Mirra is off to work. From easy-to-empty debris canisters right down to the quick-drain valves, Mirra was built to make pool cleaning easy for you.
08:18 - 2018/08/06 Mycroft Mark 2 Robot: Smart Voice Assistant
The Mycroft Mark II fits the bill. It can play music, answer your questions, and perform other tasks while protecting your privacy. The device can hear you across the room thanks to its 6 microphones, noise reduction, echo cancellation, and beam-forming. Mark II comes with a room-filling sound system.
08:59 - 2018/08/05 Model H Robot: Smart Assistant Robot
MODEL H, that uses remote control technologies utilizing the Telexistence® technology, VR, telecommunication, cloud and haptics. In the current robot industry, FA robots occupy a large market share. However, we have a clear vision to create new markets that utilize the Telexistence technology, VR, telecommunication, cloud, haptics and AI and to pass down businesses and technologies that would become assets for the next generation.
08:39 - 2018/08/04 Artibo Robot: Smart Educational Robot
Artibo Robot is a cute, affordable robot with AI/motor blocks, wheels, and everything it needs to serve as your companion. The robot can be set up easily and customized with various accessories. Artibo comes with WiFi & Bluetooth. It has a chatbot with natural responses. It is smart enough to decipher images and recognize objects.
07:17 - 2018/08/01 Hexbug Robot: Smart Toy Robot
Robots playing football is nothing new. We have already covered plenty of large humanoids capable of attempting it. The HEXBUG Robotic Soccer kit lets you play football with smaller bots. The arena comes with 6 interchangeable tops, 3 sticker sheets, and 2 soccer bots. You get 2 RC soccer bots and a fold-out game board too.
08:10 - 2018/07/31 Centauro Robot: Smart Rescue Robot
Centauro is the latest experiment by scientists to find the most adaptable and useful body-shape for robots designed to help in disasters. Usually, these machines are built like humans, with two arms and two legs, but researchers are increasingly finding that hybrid designs offer more flexibility. With its four wheeled legs, Centauro is more stable than a humanoid bot, but still retains the two forward-facing arms needed for manipulating objects like tools and doors. (Or, as in the video below, karate-chopping some plywood for fun.)
